패션소재를 기획하는 머천다이저와 디자이너가 필수적으로 알아야 할 실무지식에 대해 학습한다. 학생들은 패션브랜드가 추구하는 스타일 실루엣을 창조하기 위해 이너웨어에서 아우터웨어에 이르기까지 한 시즌 전체 포트폴리오를 어떤 소재를 사용하여 구현할 것인가를 계획하는 패션소재기획에 대해 실습한다.

This course covers practical knowledge about fashion materials necessary for fashion designers and merchandisers. Students conduct fashion fabric planning to plan what materials will be used throughout a season's portfolio, from innerwear to outerwear, to create the style silhouette pursued by the fashion brand.
